Usage Instructions

For New Machines

Fill and use the ink directly — no flushing required.

For Machines Already Using White Ink

There are two possible methods depending on the ink type. Please read carefully before proceeding.

Method 1 – Full System Flush (Recommended)

Use this method in the following cases:

  • Switching from another brand of ink to Audley Ink
  • Switching from Audley Regular White Ink or Audley Japanese White Ink to No-Sediment White Ink
  • Switching from No-Sediment White Ink to any other type
  • When doing a complete system refresh

Steps:

  1. Pour out the old white ink into its original bottle.
  2. Thoroughly flush ink cartridges, tubes, filters, dampers, and printhead with purified or distilled water.
  3. Drain all remaining water.
  4. Shake the new ink well and fill the cartridges.
  5. Use a syringe to draw ink through the dampers and fill the system.
  6. Run a cleaning cycle and nozzle test until results are normal.

Method 2 – Partial Changeover (Same Brand Only)

This method cannot be used with No-Sediment Ink.

Use this method only when switching between Audley Japanese White Ink and Audley Regular White Ink.

Steps:

  1. Allow the ink level in the tank to drop low.
  2. Add the new ink directly into the tank.
  3. Print approximately 10 meters to push the old ink out of the lines.

Restrictions Recap

  • Do not use Method 2 when switching to or from No-Sediment White Ink.
  • Always perform a full flush when changing ink brands.
